Schedule Type: Day Shift (5x8-hour shifts)

Shift: Variable days, including every other weekend & holiday rotation

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview

UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Endoscopy for a travel assignment. This role requires expertise in endoscopic procedures, floating across multiple campuses, and utilizing EPIC EMR for patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
• Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, ensuring optimal safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesiologists, and nursing teams.
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols.
• Float to other campuses as needed (TRI, Moline, Bettendorf & Muscatine).
  
  

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License (Required)
• ACLS & BLS Certification (Required)
• Current hospital/medical center Endoscopy experience (Required)
• BSN Degree (Preferred)
• Must show proof of IA RN or Compact RN license application if not already active
  
  

Additional Details

• No locals accepted (must reside more than 60 miles from facility)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
• Flu vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
• All RTO must be submitted upfront
• Guaranteed weekly hours (36-40 hrs/week; OT billable after 40 hrs, 48 hrs/week billable after 48 hrs)
