Schedule Type: Night Shift (3x12 hours)

Shift: Variable nights, 36 hrs/week

Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview

UnityPoint Health – Trinity Rock Island is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) – Progressive Care/Stepdown for a travel assignment. This role requires strong cardiac nursing skills and floating across multiple campuses if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for stepdown and progressive care patients.
• Monitor and manage cardiac/telemetry patients in a high-acuity hospital setting.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, interdisciplinary teams, and rehabilitation staff.
• Maintain EPIC charting system records accurately.
• May be required to float across all campuses (Bettendorf, Moline, Muscatine, TRI).
  
  

Required Certifications & Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN License (Required)
• ACLS & BLS Certification (AHA Required)
• NIHSS Certification (Required)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in PCU, Cardiac/Tele, or Stepdown nursing
  
  

Additional Details

• Must have an active IL Nurse Agency License (Separate from Nursys report)
• Must have an active IA Nurse Agency License (Separate from Nursys report)
• Locals accepted with 10% rate reduction (Must reside more than 60 miles from facility)
• COVID-19 vaccine required (Medical/Religious exemptions accepted)
• All time-off (RTO) must be submitted upfront
• OT billed after 48 hours/week
